Dear Friends,
We are so grateful that Karlee is able to attend Valiant College Prep this year. For many reasons we feel that this is the right place for her and we are excited to be there!
Our daughter, Karlee Brooks, is the eldest of six siblings. She was born and raised in Kapolei, Hawaii and our family recently relocated to Arizona in June 2017. Karlee has always had a passion for wrestling and judo. She has competed in local and national tournaments in both Hawaii and Arizona and actually won a few national titles for wrestling.
When we uprooted our family from Hawaii, we gravitated towards something familiar in our new home and that was wrestling. Karlee is a member of Olympus Wrestling Club where she has grown tremendously as an individual and teammate. Being a part of this wrestling Ohana has helped Karlee transition into her new home.
In the last two years that we have lived in Arizona, her growth in the sport of wrestling has earned her some national and local Arizona recognition such as 2018 Women’s National Champ, 2018 and 2019 AZ Freestyle State Champ, 2019 AZ Greco State Champ, 2018 AZ Freestyle Girls State Champ, 2nd runner up at 2019 AZ Girls Freestyle States, and 2019 Western Regional MS Girls Greco Champ.
Our family and especially Karlee is really thankful for the new opportunities that Arizona has offered us thus far and we are excited to see where this path will lead Karlee.
While attending Valiant College Prep is a decision we stand by whole heartedly, it is not without financial burden. Because of this, we humbly ask if you would consider doing something for us? As you may know, Arizona offers a Tax Credit that allows Arizona tax payers to take the funds that they would normally pay in state taxes and use them to help families with kids in private schools.
One of these tax credits is the private school tax credit. The way it works is that at any time between now and April 15th, 2020 you can contribute to Arizona Tuition Connection. When you file for 2019 you will deduct that amount off of your Arizona state taxes.
Because it is a dollar-for-dollar tax credit, the net cost to you is zero. You simply have the option of paying your taxes to the state, or redirecting those funds through this program. You can even recommend a student or family if you like.
Would you consider participating?
If you have questions this link will provide some support. Or you can call Arizona Tuition Connection at 480-409-4106. They are great to work with. Once you donate a receipt will be provided for your tax advisor.
Feel free to call us if you would like to discuss it further!
Sincerely, The Brooks Family

We have included this quick video to show you how easy it is! ....
A SCHOOL TUITION ORGANIZATION CANNOT AWARD, RESTRICT OR RESERVE SCHOLARSHIPS SOLELY ON THE BASIS OF A DONOR’S RECOMMENDATION. A TAXPAYER MAY NOT CLAIM A TAX CREDIT IF THE TAXPAYER AGREES TO SWAP DONATIONS WITH ANOTHER TAXPAYER TO BENEFIT EITHER TAXPAYER’S OWN DEPENDENT.
