Arizona allows you to turn your state taxes into tuition scholarships for kids in private schools. Every dollar (100%) of this contribution can be taken as a TAX CREDIT against your Arizona state taxes. We have included a short video to help show you how easy it is. Please take a minute to watch:
Just like that! You can use your state tax dollars to create scholarships!
You donate $2,177 for married couples filing jointly or $1,089 for individuals and you receive a dollar for dollar reduction of your Arizona tax bill AND you can use the donation as a tax deduction on your federal taxes further reducing your federal adjusted gross income. You got it right, you get every dollar donated, back from the State of Arizona AND you get an additional tax deduction from the United States of America Internal Revenue Service. If you file jointly, donate $2,177 and are in the 33% tax bracket, you walk away with $2895.41, from a $2,177 donation In addition, you can make this contribution the same day you file your taxes. If you electronically file, you will not be out of pocket more than a few days/weeks. Finally, the best for last…YOU CAN DO THIS EVERY SINGLE YEAR! Memphis is in 1st grade; if you do this every year…Memphis Ray can make you a $8,620.92 profit over the next 12 years!
Please consider helping either Memphis or other students like him at Creo Montessori.
Microsoft Employees: “Arizona Tuition Connection” is setup in the corporate Give portal. Every dollar you donate to Creo on behalf of Memphis, Microsoft will match.
If you are not an Arizona resident you can still claim the donation as a federal deduction.
If you are able to donate, indicate Memphis Ray Gemoll at Creo School on the donation form.
While an exact diagnosis for Memphis is proving to be quite elusive, the sequencing of his exome (and potentially genome) in conjunction with the sequencing of his entire immediate families should shed some light on the root cause. Memphis’ unique lifestyle requires a live-in assistant to help with feeding, bathing and dressing. Public school is unsafe and potentially life threatening for Memphis. Our experience with Montessori has proven the perfect environment. Despite chronic pain since birth, Memphis has attended school since age 2.5, only missing school for medical appointments. At this point in the process we know his symptoms occur in less than 1 in 100+ million people. Lastly, take time to review the sites below. These organizations and people have saved not only the life of our son Memphis, they likely saved mine as well.
