Scholarships for Amoree & Kellan!
Dear Friends,
Amoree is an 8th grader attending Annunciation Catholic School, and she is a caring, wonderful young woman. Amoree's passion is to help families that need help with food, clothing, and other basic necessities of life, and she is working to establish a youth lead food donation center at our church. Amoree currently want to be a pediatric doctor or a family lawyer, and is hoping to go to Xavier High School to set herself up for her future of helping kids and families.
Kellan is a 3rd grader attending Annunciation Catholic School, and Kellan is a kind little boy that wants to make sure everyone is included and having fun. Kellan is interested in astronomy and learning about how the universe work. He also likes to read and just likes spending time with his friends.
As you may know, Arizona offers several different tax credits. These credits are a great way to lower your Arizona tax liability and take control of how your funds are spent here in the state.
One of these tax credits is the private school tax credit. The way it works is that at any time between now and April 15th, 2022 you can contribute to Arizona Tuition Connection. When you file for 2021 you will deduct that amount off of your Arizona state taxes.
Because it is a dollar-for-dollar tax credit, the net cost to you is zero. You simply have the option of paying your taxes to the state, or redirecting those funds through this program. You can even recommend a student if you like.
